General Meeting of January 29, 2010 General Assembly

MORAL REPORT 2009

N e are once again gathered to review the past year as part of our two matches in the direction of our two friendly cities and Ottweiler Pouni. Ottweiler Pouni, Germany, Burkina Faso nothing in common between these two countries as differences in wealth, but how this diversity, for which we carry in our heart without differences do just like a mother to her children. Respecting the wounds of history that the war for each of colonization for others, whatever people may say that injuries are still present in both cases. Respecting the culture of the other even though in the case of Germany, the differences are very subtle, is what we are trying to continue for many years, for many of us. Also last year we thought it appropriate to give thought to see where we were and to give a new start for our matches. It is true that in this troubled world, more and more individualistic, where associations are becoming more difficult to renew, we must constantly adapt and focus our development particularly to families and younger people who are the guarantors of the continuity of our association. That's what we did again this year by opening trade with Ottweiler to new families in particular through exchanges between children in our primary schools. In addition, new associations composed mainly of young people like the badminton club took a liking to our trade and will increase the number of our loyal associations. This proves that the twinning committee is moving and we will not stop there. This year at St. Remy we want to involve the maximum-san Reims by raising the maximum associations to participate in the celebrations of May 1st and hospitality of our German friends.
N e have also multiplied times this year to meet our German friends as accommodating a group of forty citizens Ottweiler in October at Saint-Rémy and the visit of Lyon and the Beaujolais November because as so aptly Jules Renard "there is no friendship, only moments of friendship. "From
side of Africa as it moves first at Saint-Rémy as we focus our efforts for the Week of Solidarity International on educating younger. Our interventions in primary schools were much appreciated and resulted in an exhibition in the lobby of City Hall by teachers and children. On the other hand it also moves in Africa since the proposed construction of the hospital room and was finally released after receiving the estimate, the money was sent and the project must be created in the current 2010. Here is the culmination of a developing project for many months and This has motivated new members of the commission that Africa is no longer despaired to see happen in projects useful to the people's hard-earned money during the Christmas Markets. Finally
our last action "pet" means the dispatch of the ambulance fire department, ambulance we could buy with the guidance of Fernand Renault, our General Counsel. This ambulance equipped and full of medical equipment will be supported by a freight forwarder in Chalon February 3. The boat from Le Havre to arrive in Lome on 24/02. Commune Pouni is informed of the arrival and the Mayor has given us any assurance as to its support from the landing. Again a case "smoothly carried out" through the investment of all.
And I would also like to end with a thank you personally for all members of the twinning often working in the shadows but without whom the twinning committee would not exist. Since 1995, when I took the hands of Christian Fichot the Presidency, I was able to perform this task at times heavy with the support of all members of the association: so everyone in our place with due each our role we all have to operate both effectively and twinning always in the right mood. While I still wish long life to our twinning and thank you for listening.
