The Twinning Committee of St Remy is organizing its 13th Christmas market, Salle Georges Brassens, the benefit of the municipality: Poun, commune of Burkina Faso (about 30000 inhabitants).
The benefit of this action will provide funding for many actions and to undertake! : Construction of motherhood, housing of teachers, making desks for schools, and many specific actions according to the needs of residents.).
Every year the Club Africa will be at Shepherd College side of the twinning committee, as occurs in the same town, but its actions are oriented schools. Forty
featuring artists participate (ceramist, potter, beekeeper, shea soap manufacturer, decorative items, Christmas etc. ...
For its part, the Twinning Committee will be present with a stand of African artifacts (pottery, bogolans, etc.) and a stand with treats German music boxes, decorative porcelain Villeroy and Boch, lanterns (twinning with Ottweiler).
Santa will pay us a visit, to the delight of young and old.
the afternoon, an ice carving demonstration, led by Mr. Marzi, a baker in St. Remy, will be held on the forecourt of the hall Georges Brassens
